TCA & TBCE Caused all the Problems They Want Your Money to Fix

Similar to what has been going on in numerous states, the Texas Chiropractic Association and the Texas Board of Chiropractic have been attempting to expand the scope of chiropractic practice over the past several years. Their scope expansion attempts have included Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA), needle electromyography, Physician Status, Bus Driver Physicals, Concussion Rights and a litany of other procedures they have tried to sneak into the scope.

The Texas Chiropractic Association has even formally adopted a legislative agenda that would force all chiropractors to practice to the fullest extent of their education:

“Support legislation which requires Chiropractors to practice up to the level of their education. Texas currently limits substantially the practice of Chiropractors to a small subset of what a Chiropractor is taught and trained to do.”

All chiropractic programs in the United States are accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) and as such must train chiropractors as primary care providers in order to be accredited. The CCE is part of the so called “Chiropractic Cartel” and the Chiropractic Summit Group which are made up of various schools, trade organizations and regulatory bodies seeking the expansion of chiropractic scope of practice to include the practice of primary care and in some cases drug prescriptive rights.

The chiropractic board even tried to get its investigators the right to carry guns to investigate chiropractors.

Unfortunately for them, the Texas Medical Association had enough and sued them in an effort to put a stop to what they were doing. Now the TCA and TBCE want chiropractors, chiropractic schools and chiropractic organizations to send them money to fight the very legal battles and related problems that they created.

Who in their right mind would give money to the very people who created this problem to begin with?

One such person is the President of Parker University, William Morgan DC, who has been urging chiropractors and organizations to send money to the TCA. Morgan has been a long time supporter of the Chiropractic Cartel and is now using Parker University to further their agenda. Students and alumni of Parker University should be outraged that their institution and student resources are being used for such purposes.

Chiropractors, especially those focused on the location, analysis and correction of vertebral subluxation are urged not to be fooled by the false scare tactics they are putting out that if they lose you will not be able to diagnose or adjust subluxations. They are using that in order to get as much money behind them as possible.

Instead chiropractors are urged to join and provide support to the Chiropractic Society of Texas.
